We were approached by Beau Constantia to design a wine label for a wine that didn’t yet have a name. We presented ‘Pas de nom’ (meaning ‘Without name’), a concept built around a blank label. The bottle came with a pencil around its neck and was wrapped in tissue paper printed with a message that appealed to people to think of names for the wine and return the ideas to the wine maker. The wine was presented in this form to the wine maker’s associates, friends and family.
