ATARAXIA

Kevin Grant approached At Pace for a consultation on a boutique wine he was launching. The name Ataraxia, which is ancient Greek for “a state of tranquillity,” was an initial stumbling block. But through a beautiful illustration which captured the ideas of peace, rest and dreaming this complex name’s meaning was brought to the fore, and demystified. The illustration is inspired by the work of Picasso and Miro, merging the two styles into one.
